Design Expo is a highly curated annual trade show and interior design exhibition showcasing the latest home decor and design trends from San Diego and Tijuana's top emerging local talent across art, furniture, textiles, lighting, plant, floral and tile design.
The event provides an opportunity for buyers and collectors to network with makers, stay ahead of design trends and be inspired by the incredible talent right here in our city and neighbouring region of Tijuana, Mexico.

We are currently curating the 2024 Design Expo and considering pieces across furniture, art (wall and sculpture), lighting, textiles, fabric, plant & floral design, ceramics and other smaller decorative objects including candles, linen, basketry, home and tableware. We charge a $150 space rental fee and take 10% commission on all art sold on the day or through our online referrals. We welcome anyone and everyone interested in art and design, but our goal is to make this event as valuable to our exhibitors as possible.
We have built long-standing relationships with Press & Trade Buyers (media outlets, interior designers, stagers, collectors, gallerists, buyers, architects and developers). These folks are added to our guest list and invited to enjoy a VIP experience and enjoy a first look at the exhibition. Trade Buyers and Exhibitors will receive name tags to easily discern them from the general public, and ensure they are able to connect and network easily.

Studio Imogen
Imogen Baxter is a communications specialist and event producer with a passion for interior design. Originally from South Africa, her passion for furniture and art led her to pursue a degree in Art History and Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute. She is passionate about connecting creatives while showcasing the abundance of local talent here in San Diego.
JESSICA TINGLE
STAGING COLLECTIVE
Jess Tingle is an interior stylist whose work has been featured in the LA Times, Travel & Leisure, The Hollywood Reporter, Condé Nast Traveler, Crate and Barrel, & CB2. Her unique style combines clean-modern lines with textured finishes and one of a kind decorative pieces from small batch artists and designers.
